More Information A NIGHT IN RIO: The Brazilian Carnival Experience The Latin American Coalition invites you to our fourth annual Brazilian Celebration, A NIGHT IN RIO. Take a journey through Brazil in an evening featuring traditional dancing, live musical performances of Samba, Bossa Nova, and Brazilian Beats, a marketplace and authentic food. You won't want to miss the contagious energy of Brazils famous Carnaval at this one-of-a-kind cultural experience. Sold out for the past two years! Learn more at http://www.latinamericancoalition.org/rio/About The Carnival celebration will start with a free samba lessons to get the crowd moving. Demonstrations of capoeira, an Afro- Brazilian art form that combines martial arts, music and dance, will be provided JustBrazil. There will be live samba and traditional dancing by Movimentos de Samba. The globally-known hits of Antonio Carlos Jobim, Joao Gilberto and Sergio Mendes will move the crowd with live samba music interpreted by Malandro Soul and Reinaldo Brahn.
